Norfolk Lights Express 10 Nov 2023 to 1 Jan 2024
The Norfolk Lights Express is an immersive, wintertime experience that is fun for the whole family! Arrive after dark at Sheringham Station and you’ll be greeted by the magical sight of a steam-hauled train illuminated by thousands of tiny lights. The journey runs from Sheringham to Holt. Sheringham Station is only a 45 minute drive from your luxury Holiday Home in Docking.
Burnham Market Christmas Lights Switch On – 17th Nov 2023
The Green and many of the shops and restaurants will be home to hundreds of glittering lights. Expect to find art, craft and food stalls on Friday 17th November 10am – 6pm and Saturday 18th November 10am – 4.40am at the Garden room and the Lodge at the Hoste Arms. and you should also see Father Christmas amongst the crowds. If you are looking to have a quick bite there will be local and street food stalls of various world cuisines from midday onwards. Entertainment includes Burnham Church Choir and School Choir along with a children’s funfair. Less than 15 mins drive from your luxury holiday cottage in Docking.
Wild Winter After Dark at Blickling Estate – 2nd to 23rd Dec 2023
Journey through the magically illuminated garden and experience the sights and sounds of nature this Christmas. Blickling Hall gardens are covered in thousands of lights illuminating the Parterre and Orangery with colour and light. Walk through the gardens, enjoying the sights and sounds whilst eating delicious treats from the local food suppliers and stalls, this is an event that will be enjoyed by the whole family.
